Terms of Use
Short version: Marjen is yours to use for your own notes and work; your content stays yours; the AI features are helpers, not a substitute for your judgement; subscriptions renew until you cancel in your Apple Account.
1. The app
Marjen is provided by Lochrann Labs LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. By installing or using it you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard licensed application terms, which apply in addition. If you use Marjen for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
2. Your content
Everything you write, record or import stays your property. You grant us no rights in it beyond what is needed to provide the features you use (for example, sending a transcript to a summarisation service when you ask for a summary). You are responsible for having the right to record and process what you capture, including telling meeting participants that a recording is being made where the law requires it.
3. AI features
Summaries, extracted tasks, plans and answers are generated by AI models and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Review them before you rely on them. AI features are optional and are described in the privacy policy. We may change or retire the models and providers behind a feature.
4. Subscriptions
Some features require Marjen Pro, sold through Apple's in-app purchase as an auto-renewing subscription. The price and period are shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Marjen to break the law, to interfere with our services or other users, or to attempt to extract our service credentials. We may suspend access to our online services from a device that abuses them.
6. Availability and changes
Marjen and its online services are provided as they are. We work to keep them reliable but do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change features over time. Your notes remain in your iCloud regardless.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lochrann Labs LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of Marjen, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Questions: support@lochrannlabs.com. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, except where your local consumer law provides otherwise.
